The five-year-olds have also finished the first WC-round. 24 KWPN-horses started off strong with a clear result, including the KWPN-approved stallion La Costa ES. 

No less than 230 participants started in this first leg. 122 five-year-olds kept their slate clean which means tomorrow will be another important day. The KWPN-approved stallion La Costa ES (Mosito van het Hellehof out of Isolde ES elite sport-spr PROK by Cumano) of breeder Egbert Schep ridden by Gerd-Jan Horsmans was one of the horses that crossed the finish line with zero penalties. That same breeder also saw how Lamira ES (Golden Dream out of Amira Z by Air Jordan) cleared the course with Maartje Verberckmoes. The group that incurred no penalties also included the recently via the Blom Cup appointed stallion Lambrusco (Entertainer out of Total Touch stb-ext pref prest by Lux) of breeders Pieter and Loes Keunen and co-registered to Stal Hendrix.
