Ipsthar clear in 1.50m Sires of the World
At merely eight years of age and in his first ever 1.50m course, the KWPN-approved stallion Ipsthar performed a fantastic and flawless round. An unlucky rail in the jump-off resulted in an overall 10th place in the Sires of the World.
In yesterday’s opening class at 1.40m height, Bas Moerings and his ever-eager KWPN-approved stallion Ipsthar (Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof out of Vestha stb prest by Farmer), bred by the family Moerings from Roosendaal/Oud-Gastel, incurred only time penalties. Today, in the 1.50m course, the eight-year-old jumped in effortless manner to a clear result. In the jump-off the pair faced an unlucky rail in the last line, which brought them to the tenth position. “Amazing, right? To have such a 1.50m debut here is even for Ipsthar beyond expectations”, says Bas Moerings afterwards about the stallion he produced himself. “This is our third time in Lanaken, as a five- and six-year-old he also competed on these grounds and last year the WC was cancelled. Ipsthar did an incredible job once again and always gives that extra push off the ground when needed.”
The victory was claimed by Kasanova de la Pomme (s.Bamako de Muze) and Koen Vereecke, followed by Dominator Z (s.Diamant de Semilly) with Christian Ahlman and the third place was taken by Feromas van Beek (s.Fantomas de Muze) and Gilles Thomas.
