Saturday January 8 the first round viewing for harness stallions is organised at the KWPN center in Ermelo. Unfortunately, visitors are not allowed, you can follow the entire program free of charge via the livestream at KWPN.nl and KWPN.tv!

At 08.30 hours the first group of harness horses enters the ring. No less than 37 stallions make their appearance one by one to demonstrate their abilities to the stallion selection committee. Around 10.00 hours, the inspection on the hard surface is completed for the first three groups. After a short break, the first three groups will be presented in hand at 10.36, followed by the jury’s verdict.

Young and proven stallions

The afternoon program continues at 12.36 hours with groups four and five. After the announcement which stallions out of the last two groups are referred to the second-round viewing, it is time for the young stallions that have been approved this year. The approved stallions Macho, Bocellies Matteo, Lanto HBC, Heliotroop VDM, Maximiano I&S, Neon GSM, Norbert FS and Norking Apple are presented in harness and the stallions Innovatief, Kane BFT, Jesse James, Lexington, Idol, Dylano, Magnifiek and Leffe Blond are shown in hand. Cizandro is presented at the long lines. The program ends at approximately 17.15 hours.

Catalogue

The catalogue of the first round viewing of the harness horses is available through the KWPN web shop. In this catalogue, you find a detailed overview of all participating stallions. If you order the catalogue before December 23, it is shipped out on December 23. If you order the catalogue between the 23rd and 29th December, it is shipped December 30. Orders placed after this date will be sent out daily from January 4th onwards, but because of the rush at the postal operators we cannot guarantee your order will arrive in time. 

No public allowed

After the press conference of our government on December 14, we unfortunately had to conclude that no public is allowed during the first round viewing in connection with the existing measures relating to the fight against the coronavirus. The entire program can be watched live via KWPN.nl and KWPN.tv.
