The stallion selection committee was presented with a wide range of talented stallions on the first day. 23 of them were invited to the performance test.

In terms of variation in bloodlines, it was a diverse day today. We saw promising sons by both foreign sires and young stallions. All At Once obtained a 100%-score, since all three of his offered sons advance to the performance test. Out of the young progenitor Just Wimphof, four interestingly bred sons received the green light, meaning they get to prove themselves under saddle. Escamillo, Secret, For Romance, Totilas each got two sons appointed.

In the presentation at the end of the afternoon all appointed stallions receive a commentary from the jury and it is expected – given the high quality – that multiple stallions will get an invite to the premium round that is scheduled for tomorrow.
