Eleven top talents in The Road to Grand Prix
Tonight, eleven approved stallions of eight and nine years of age made their appearance in The Road to Grand Prix. Guided by Marian van Dorresteijn these talented horses showed off their potential for the Grand Prix to the breeders.
Most stallions in The Road to Grand Prix are already active at Small Tour level but are cautiously working towards the Grand Prix in training. “At this phase, these stallions are often not on the radar of the breeders”, explains Marian Dorresteijn about this segment. “Young stallions are frequently used, but then breeder wait for a while for the offspring to become three or four years old. Tonight, we get to show the breeders the qualities of these stallions again.” The eleven stallions all presented themselves excellently and showed to tick all the boxes for the Grand Prix. An extensive reportage on this segment follows in the next edition of the KWPN Magazine. The presentation of these stallions was recorded live and will be available on demand via KWPN.tv.
