Out of the five stallions that were appointed to the performance test, three were awarded a premium by the jury. The breeders of those stallions were handed a breeder premium of 1000 euro presented by the Friends of the KWPN.

These stallions were introduced by Lammert Tel in catalogue order. Oscar-T (Icellie x Cizandro, bred by Harrie Tonnaer of Ysselsteyn) of Gebr. Van Manen of Ede and Jan Thijs of Heeze was the first stallion that was bestowed with the premium title. Lammert Tel described Oscar T as a harness typical, longlined and elegant stallion with a nice whithers and shoulder, that showed high and climbing movement in his front leg while powerfully engaging his hindquarters.

Onana

The next premium stallion is Onana (Idol x Unieko) of breeders Martin and Mark de Groot of Giessenburg and A.J. Wouters of Casteren. Tel: “We rarely see a stallion with this much front, that looks fiercely at the world. Onana is a stallion that has a good type, climbs in to his movements and possesses lots of suspension.”

Obrian HJ

The third premium stallion is Obrian HJ (Kane BFT x Manno, bred by J. Bloemert of Staphorst) of Freek Saris. A noteworthy fact is that Bloemert also bred the last year approved stallion Norbert FS of Freek Saris. Both stallions originate from different damlines. Lammert Tel described Obrian HJ as a stallion with a strong, harness horse typical model, that has a strong topline, powerful hind leg and has a natural eagerness to go forward and upward.
