The stallions of the online KWPN Select Sale were also sold at good prices. There was not lack of international interest in the selected stallions, and the Dutch were also interested. Two selected stallions were sold for more than 100.000 euros.

The topseller of the evening was Romanov Blue Hors son Olympus VDT. A tough bidding duel between various Dutch bidders drove the price up considerably. The last bid came down to 140.000 euros, making the selected Olympus VDT, just like his half-brother My Toto VDT, the most expensive-selling dressage horse in the KWPN Select Sale. The second round viewing stallion Olrava (s.Just Wimphof) was sold for 42.000 euros, he was sold to The Netherlands.

120.000 euros
Among the jumper stallions, the highest bid was for Olano (s.Manchester van 't Paradijs). It was a few years ago that a jumper stallion in the KWPN Select Sale crossed the 100.000 euro. The selected stallion Olano, whose mother is Werner Muff's 1.50m mare, Zwinulana leaves to Ukraine for 120.000 euros.

Successful auction evening
Yesterday the average price of the dressage stallions was 41.500 euros. The jumper stallions were sold for an average of 29.500 euros. Besides Ukraine and The Netherlands, there were also buyers from Germany, America, United Kingdom, Bulgaria and Italy. “It was a successful auction evening”, Rianka Hazeleger said enthusiastic. “The fact that the KWPN Select Sale took place entirely online on our well-known auction platform this time, did not seem to affect the result. There were many visitors to the website all day long and there was also great interest both from The Netherlands and abroad during the auction. The fact that we have sold two horses above the 100.000 euro is a very nice result and shows that good prices are also achieved for the KWPN Select Sale online.”

Broodmares
The KWPN Select Sale is over, and the next auction is coming. It is now almost a tradition that a KWPN Online Broodmare & Embryo Auction is organized immediately after the KWPN Select Sale. This collection is online now, bidding starts on Friday February 11th and the auction closes on Monday evening February 14th.
