Mark the 8th till the 11th of September 2022 in your agenda as it is time for the ‘FEI/WBFSH World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses’. In Ermelo, the best five-, six-, and seven-year-old dressage horses will compete for the world titles. Be sure not to miss it!

We are proud that the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses is back on Dutch soil once again! After a three-year absence, this championship returns to the National Equestrian Centre. In 2019 the WC was held in Ermelo for the last time.

In 2020 the World Championships in Verden were cancelled due to the measures surrounding the coronavirus. The championships were supposed to be organised in Ermelo last August, but the Verden organisation made a special request if the WC 2021 could be held in Germany, which we accepted. The FEI has made a commitment that the World Breeding Dressage Championships of 2022, 2023 and 2024, so for three consecutive years, are to be organised in the Netherlands.

The date is moved to 8-11 September 2022. For four days, Ermelo revolves around the competition between world’s best young dressage horses. We are looking forward to it and hope we may welcome you again this year.
