Yesterday it was time for the first evaluation by the stallion selection committee in Ermelo. Three stallions were referred to the next performance test, for one stallion the performance test was terminated. 

In general, the three-year-old stallions are making a good impression in the performance test. “The jumper stallions show good rideability, a good balance and are overall easy to assess. The entire stallion selection committee was present today and returns coming Tuesday for the second evaluation. In consultation with the owners, one stallion was referred to the next performance test”, tells senior-inspector Henk Dirksen, referring to the Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof-son The Eternal Sunshine PM, that may come back in a future performance test. 

The dressage stallions also perform up to par. “The stallions could be ridden and assessed in a very relaxed manner today and in general are also making a good impression. In consultation with the owners today, the For Romance-son Fabiano was referred to a later performance test and the performance test was terminated for the Secret-son One To Remember”, explains senior-inspector Floor Droge. Among the Gelder stallions, that were also evaluated today, the Kardieno-offspring Orlando was referred as well. That means that there is currently one stallion left participating in the performance test of this breeding direction.
