The third day of the National Dutch Championships in Ermelo kicked off with the first leg of the Small Tour class. Two KWPN-stallions secured the top placements and thereby the best starting positions for the national championship: Bart Veeze grabbed the win with Imposantos (s.Wynton) with Dettori (s.Desperado) and Dominique Filion in pursuit. However, the approved stallion In Style (s.Eye Catcher) is also still in the race as he placed fourth with Renate van Uytert-van Vliet.

Bart Veeze and Imposantos (Wynton out of Zarina elite PROK IBOP-dr s.Krack C, breeder W. Wijnen) broke their personal record with a score of 75.098%. The combination is now in the lead in the championships. In hot pursuit is Dominique Filion on the second KWPN-stallion Dettori. The Desperado-son (out of Diamond Eye s.De Niro, bred by S. Tietje) also bested their own score with 74.510%.

In Style in fourth

The championship is promising to end with a thrilling finale. Renate van Uytert-van Vliet proved to be one of the top contenders with KWPN-approved In Style (Eye Catcher out of  Sissy s.Lorentin I, bred by J.M. van Uytert). The pair earned 73.677% for their test, resulting in a fourth place and a podium spot well within sight.

This afternoon, the first leg of the Big Tour is on the program. All classes are broadcasted live via ClipMyHorse.tv
