One jumper stallion referred to next performance test
The final presentation is organised on Saturday May 28th, and that makes coming Tuesday the last official evaluation. Yesterday, the stallions got the chance to get used to an audience, as a group of interested people attended their performance as part of the ‘warm welcome’ initiative. “It was a bit exciting for the stallions to see a crowd but overall, their rideability was good and we could assess them well. The stallion selection committee is convinced this performance test is going to yield a group of highly useable stallions”, tells senior-inspector Henk Dirksen. For veterinary reasons it was decided to refer the four-year-old Toulon-son Newton E to the autumn performance test. This brings the current total number of stallions to nine three-year-olds, three four-year-olds and one six-year-old jumper stallion in Ermelo.
