The offspring of Glock’s Toto Jr. made quite an impression today in the semi-final for five-year-olds. Ridden by Danielle Heijkoop, his son Mac Toto USB trotted to a 9 and overall score of 87.2 points, thereby grabbing the lead towards the final of Saturday.

Marian Dorresteijn and Marie-Louise Moerings judged the 5-year-olds today. “We have seen a nice group of horses in the arena that, in general, were presented well. We have seen very few problems with tension today.”

Glock’s Toto Jr.

Mac Toto USB (Glock’s Toto Jr. out of Turjazzila keur pref sport-dres by Jazz, bred by G. van de Laar of Vorstenbosch) already won the selection round in Turnhout, Belgium, and continued his winning streak today. “A horse that trots and canters with ample balance. In trot he shows great rhythm and elasticity and his transitions in this gait were outstanding. The same can be said about his canter. It comes easy to him to take on weight with his hindleg. The horse was presented in a correct manner with consistent contact.” Glock’s Toto Jr. also sires the runner-up: Montrachet (out Bormiek elite pref IBOP-dres D-OC by Tuschinski, bred by Adri van Erp ofHeesch) presented by Saskia van Es and the Totilas-son even got three more horses in the top 8 of the semi-final.

KWPN-approved stallions

In close third was the approved stallion My Blue Hors Santiano (Sezuan out of Romanik byRomanov, breeder Straight Horse APS of Alleroed) ridden by Renate van Uytert-van Vliet. The KWPN-approved Galleria’s Mister Maserati, Bloomberg, Mexpression and Mister Diamond also qualified for the final.
