The third collection of the KWPN Online Foal Auction has launched. Bids on these 12 jumpers and 26 dressage foals are open from the 12th to the 15th of August. No less than four foals descemd from the Pavo Cup champion My Blue Hors Santiano and also the newly crowned GP Special World Champion Glamourdale has an offspring in this promising collection.

Over the last years, the auction platform KWPN Auction has developed into an international showcase where breeders and buyers frequently come together. This season the calendar marks eigth editions of the KWPN Online Foal Auction as we are now amid our third.

Champion stallions

The third collection is comprised of 26 dressage foals, descending from both remarkable sires and proven damlines. Ridden by Renate van Uytert, the spectacular My Blue Hors Santiano convincingly secured the win in the Pavo Cup for five-year-olds last weekend and now he presents four great moving foals in this auction. Sir Santiano’s damline traces back to the lineage of late René Franssen and he is therefore closely related to the international Grand Prix horse Vradin (s.Gribaldi). Santano (s.Mister Diamond) is bred out of that same proven damline. The 2021 Pavo Cup champion Las Vegas (s.Ferdaux) also produced an offspring in the auction. Established damlines are also represented within the collection. The dam of Vivino-colt So De Jus already produced the Small Tour-horse Gaia Omie (s.Charmeur) and two ZZ-Zwaar dressage horses. The Mamorkus-son Samorkus is bred out of a half-sister of the international Grand Prix horse Rubens (s.Rubinstein I) of Nicole Smith and the Big Tour horse Van Kraack STH (s.Krack C). In the same week that Glamourdale and Charlotte Fry obtain a gold medal in the Grand Prix Special at the WC of Herning, bids are open on his son Sunnydale in the KWPN Online Foal Auction. 2021 World champion young horses Kjento (s.Negro) also has an interesting offspring in this collection. Sjelinda is originates from the same dam as the international Grand Prix horse Dujelinda M (s.Westpoint) of Tegan Kossowicz.

Jumper foals

Jumper foal enthusiasts can also indulge in their passion with this collection. Verdi-son Salvation B posseses a proven pedigree and is bred out of a 1.35m full sister of the international 1.60m horse Herriot (s.Aram) of Tanja Torgilsman. Out of a half-sister of the KWPN-recognized Grand Prix stallion Zerlin M (s.Berlin) we find the La Costa ES colt Spyke. The Etoulon VDL colt Scaramouche Magic RB originates from the direct lineage of the Grand Prix horse HBC Dancing Queen (s.Corland) of Julia Kayser. The Douglas colt So Douglas is bred out of the damline of stallions Emir R, Odermus R and Mermus R, while filly Saristrichta (s.Mees van de Watermolen) is related to the Grand Prix horse Portofino (s.Habsburg).
