Blom Cup: 20 seven-year-old horses produce clear round
The last class on the first day of the Blom Cup in Valkenswaard has just come to an end. Out of the 54 seven-year-old horses, 20 produced a clear round. The second round is scheduled for 15.15hrs tomorrow.
All finished pairs are entitled to compete in the second round and all clear combinations are now ranked in a shared first place after this first round of the semi-final of the KWPN Championships for seven-year-old jumper horses for the Blom Cup. Among the clear duos we find Caroline Müller and the KWPN-approved stallion Kensington ES (Cornet Obolensky out of Athetin by For Pleasure), one of today’s impressively jumping horses bred by Egbert Schep. In this first round, the horses faced a challenging 1.40m course. Tomorrow the competition continues with the second manche of the semi-final.
