Blom Cup: beautiful sport in seven-year-old class
Just like yesterday, the seven-year-old horses set foot in the impressive grass arena of Valkenswaard. The 25 best horses, 11 of which remained clear over the two rounds, have qualified for the final.
Over 50 seven-year-old horses made their appearance in the second round of the Blom Cup. This second course was again built at 1.40m height. The top-25 may come back for the final tomorrow, that list includes multiple offspring of Eldorado van de Zeshoek (2), Zirocco Blue VDL (2), and Baltic VDL (2). The KWPN-approved stallion Kensington ES (Cornet Obolensky out of Athletin by For Pleasure, bred by and registered to Egbert Schep) ridden by Caroline Müller duplicated his first day's result and through another clear round the pair effortlessly qualified for the final.
