Three appointed three-year-old Gelder stallions arrived in Ermelo on Monday. All three stallions got the green light and could move into a stable at the KWPN Centre.

The Gelder stallions Ojee - B (Ibsen B out of Jorien Tilde elite IBOP PROK by Rubus, breeder G.S.W. te Bokkel of Eerbeek), Odeer (Atze out of Zeronica elite sport-dres PROK by Talos, breeder A.V. Noordman of Zuidwolde) and Orlando (Kardieno out of Dalou de Lemerij stb-ext by Special D, breeder B. Boomkamp of Deurningen) were presented in the delivery for the autumn performance test.

Delivery

The stallion Ojee – B was shown in harness and the stallions Odeer and Orlando were presented all-round under saddle. The latter two were first asked to perform some dressage flat work before making a few jumps under saddle. When the stallions were deemed trainable by the stallion committee, they were directed to the veterinarian for an examination. All stallions were regarded trainable and passed the veterinary examination and could therefore move into a stable at the KWPN Centre to start their performance test.

Performance test

The three stallions thereby entered the autumn performance test of approximately 28 days. Saturday the 19th of November, the stallions are presented in the final exam. After successfully completing the performance test, the stallions must furthermore pass two one-day tests in the discipline other than the discipline that was assessed during the performance test.
