The sixth edition of the KWPN Online Auction for broodmares and embryos offers some excellent opportunities. The collection is composed of 25 pregnant mares and 4 embryos, bids can be placed from November 18 through 21. These broodmares and embryos are each related to successful sport horses and could be a great asset to every breeding program.

It's the sixth edition of the KWPN Online Broodmare & Embryo Auction and previous editions have proven mares of such caliber draw both national and international interest. This collection also includes valuable genetic material, that could help breeders make a major step forward.

Related to Olympic horses

Dressage breeders could place a bid on the National Mare Championship finalist Ganoeska (Apache x Juventus), whose eldest offspring Kavallo (s.Desperado) is taking the Small Tour by storm with Jonna Schelstraete. Ganoeska has the same granddam as the Olympic dressage horse Suppenkasper (s.Spielberg) and is a half-sister of the Small Tour horse Elcapone (s.Wynton). Another interesting mare is the Daily Diamond-daughter Montanavrouwe, bred out of the Small Tour mare Fergievrouwe that in turn is a half-sister of the Grand Prix horse Dupp Zhivago (s.Flemmingh) and the KWPN-approved Small Tour stallion Amazing Star (s.Flemmingh). That makes this descendant of the Landsvrouwe lineage a relative of the Olympic dressage horse Glock’s Undercover N.O.P. (s.Ferro). The dam line of the Olympic dressage horse Exquis Nadine (s.TCN Partout) has also brought forth Charmeur-daugther Godiva van de Westen, a half-sister of the KWPN-approved Small Tour stallion Dorado (s.Krack C). And what about Labelle ter Kwincke (Governor x UB40), whose dam is not just the half-sister of the KWPN-approved Olympic stallion Glock’s Johnson TN (s.Jazz), but also produced the KWPN-approved stallion Just for You (s.Uthopia) and multiple Small Tour-winner Grayton Beach (s.Negro).

Proven origins

The group of jumper mares also provide plenty of proven bloodlines. Hyolga M (s.Big Star Jr.) is bred out of the same dam as the KWPN-approved stallion Just One (s.Toulon) and the (inter)national 1.45m/.150m jumpers Wyolga (s.Goodtimes) and Zydalgo M (s.Heartbreaker). Bred out of a 1.40m mare and related to WC medalist Loharna-P (s.Carrera VDL) is the Corland-daughter Honey (ds.Phin Phin), that not only represents a solid performance lineage but also carefully constructed pedigree. That statement also applies to the Stakkato-daughter Sweet Nena d’Ive Z (ds.Darco), a (half-)sister of the 1.45/1.50m shwojumpers Mandingo la Silla (s.Stakkato) and Famoso d’Ive Z (s.For Pleasure). The Indoctro-daughter Jeltje is a (half-)sister of no less than six international showjumpers, including the 1.40m/1.50m horses Cinella (s.Celano), Big Brother (s.Celano) and Glostro (s.Indoctro). The pedigree of Kickstart pairs top progenitor Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve to the proven Rubertha-line of Stal Roelofs.

Four interesting embryos

The auction that runs from November 18 through 21 also includes four embryos. The Aganix du Seigneur Z-embryo out of the genetic gem De Cora de Mahn Z is one of them. In the fourth generation of this embryo, we encounter the acclaimed Grand Prix mare Walnut de Muze, that had a long-standing successful career with Harrie Smolders. Dam De Cora de Mahn is a young granddaughter of the international 1.35m ranked mare Carrera de Muze, that earned her stripes in breeding as the dam of the 1.60m jumpers Caipiranja (s.Taran de la Pomme) and J’Adore van het Schaeck (s.Vagabond de la Pomme). In addition to Carrera de Muze, Walnut de Muze produced the 1.50/1.60m horses Falaise de Muze (s.Wandor van de Mispelaere), Fetard de la Pomme (s.Querlybet Hero) and I’m Special de Muze (s.Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof).

Under the guidance of Gregory Wathelet, the powerhouse Nevados S has developed into a fantastic Grand Prix winner and in 2019 the pair were part of the golden EC-team in Rotterdam. Up till now, the impressive grey has produced a limited number of offspring, the eldest of which are on the verge of their international career. In this collection, he sires an embryo out of the Dominator Z-daughter Domintona BB Z, a granddaughter of the Grand Prix mare Daytona de Muze of Jody Bosteels and a representative of a very special dam line.

Being offspring of the influential Chacco-Blue means the other embryos are of outstanding origin. A truly unique opportunity to acquire the highly exclusive genes of Explosion W! one of the embryos is not just sired by Chacco-Blue, his dam is Explosion’s half-sister Zarina III (s.Heartbreaker). For the last embryo, world’s leading sire Chacco-Blue has been paired to the international 1.40m mare Go Dence, a descendant of an exquisite performance lineage. This mare is an offspring of the influential Grand Prix stallion Mylord Carthago.
