The KWPN-approved stallion Lowlands was the only competitor in the first leg of the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Dressage. Dinja van Liere put up a lovely performance aboard the Millennium-son, which resulted in 85 points.

Janine van Twist and Bart Bax are judging this first competition: “You immediately notice the great balance of Lowlands”, tells commentating judge Janine van Twist. “The walk shows a swinging back, though the contact could have been softer in the extended walk. in the trot we see a beautiful self-carriage, highlight being the lateral movements. The canter is uphill, although Lowlands could have a more powerful jump in the changes. Overall, a sympathetic stallion that shows good self-carriage. We thought it was a beautiful test.”

Lowlands

Born in 2016, Lowlands was approved at the KWPN with 87,5 points in 2019. The son of Millennium was bred by B. Schrapper of Groenheim, Germany, out of the staatsprämie and elite mare La Donna S. This Donnerball-daughter foaled three approved stallions. This lineage also produced the Grand Prix horse Exquis Escapado of Hans Peter Minderhoud and Carl Hester.
