The second and last KWPN Online Broodmare & Embryo Auction of 2022 has concluded. 25 pregnant mares and four embryos were put under the digital hammer Monday night. The highlight of the auction was the embryo by Chacco Blue x Heartbreaker out of the half-sister of Explosion W (s.Chacco Blue). 

Following a fierce bidding duel, it was a Dutch buyer that may welcome this embryo. The embryo is not only sired by Chacco Blue, but its dam is Explosion W’s half-sister Zarina III. Zarina III previously foaled the stallion Liamant W VDL (s.Diamant de Semilly). Explosion W and Zarina III are bred out of the mare Uarina. Uarina jumped at 1.55m level herself and also produced Boncetto W (s.Concetto Famos). 

KWPN Online Auction

The next auction on the calendar is the KWPN Online Stallion Auction. This auction offers stallions that participated in the first-round viewing. The collection is launched on December 19. Bidding starts December 23 and the auction closes on December 27.
