The first crop of the champion stallion Le Formidable has brought forth nine stallions that may advance to the second round viewing. The total now stands at 75 dressage stallions with only the after inspection left.

On the last regular day of the first round viewing, 17 dressage stallions were selected for the second round. Half of them, nine to be exact, are offspring of this year’s main supplier Le Formidable, making him the top supplier in Den Bosch as well. World Champion Kjento had five sons advance to the next round. “We have seen a large group of stallions sired by Le Formidable, nine of which were selected. In general, these stallions are big, well-developed and display a good movement mechanism. From Kjento we could select strongly built stallions that move with abundant power.” After five days the total number of selected horses has grown to 75 dressage stallions. “We are very pleased and we were able to stay the course. We have given the offspring of the young sires a chance and we carry on our selection in Den Bosch, where we expect to see a representative group again”, Bert Rutten comments.

Tuesday, the first round viewing resumes with the jumper stallions. The after inspection for all three breeding directions is organised on December 15.
