With only one regular day and the after-inspection left, the preliminary total stamds at 66 jumper stallions. Among the group of stallions that was selected today were six offspring of Grandorado.

“We had another successful day, and we invited a good group of stallions for Den Bosch”, Cor Loeffen responds. Grandorado TN made a solid impression and six of his sons may advance to the next round. Hardrock Z (4), Gullit HBC (2) and F-One USA (2) will also be represented by more than one offspring at the KWPN Stallion Show. “We may conclude that Grandorado in any case has a positive influence on loose jumping. In terms of conformation, his sons are somewhat varied, but they all left a good impression in their jumping performance. We also selected multiple sons of Hardrock Z. He seems to pass on the typical Heartbreaker traits, such as quick reflexes and eagerness in jumping. Sometimes that last aspect was at the expense of the jump. We appointed offspring that display size and height." After three days the current number of selected stallions for the second round viewing is 67. “We have definitely given some stallions the benefit of the doubt, since Den Bosch is another important selection moment. Today included a number interestingly bred stallions with an acceptable conformation and ditto loose jumping performance that were granted an invite to the next round. In comparison to the previous days, we did see some stallions that were way too fresh which does not contribute towards the evaluation.”
