The KWPN-approved Lowlands and Dinja van Liere are on a roll in the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Dressage. After his top score at De Peelbergen in November, he obtained 83,4 points for his Z-level test today.

The Z-class had two names on the starting list tonight. Dinja van Liere and the approved stallion Lowlands (Millennium out of La Donna S s.Donneball, f: B. Schrapper of Groenheim GER) were the first to appear in front of judges Bart Bax and Mascha Reijs. The first was the commentating judge that provided the scores and explanation after each test: “Lowlands is a stallion with a lot of presence. The contact was quiet and consistent throughout the test and this stallion has a lovely posture. There was small error in the half-passes and one flying change could have been more fluent, but the three other changes were very positive. The walk is pure and shows good over track in the extensions, an 8.5. The trot displays good impulsion and elasticity, an 8.4. In the canter the stallion can easily package his stride, but could show more lateral flexion, an 8.2. A concise test that is rewarded with an 8.2 for submission and 8.4 for overall impression.” This brought the overall score to 83,4 points which secured the victory.

The second combination in the Z-class received 76,2 points for their performance. The KWPN-bred and AES-approevd Kadym BM (Ferdinand out of Fyanda elite pref IBOP-dr sport-dr PROK s.Sorento, bred by J.P. Mom of Elst) was presented by Kim Thijssen. The jury praised the chestnut stallion for his expression and his front leg technique in trot.
