Young stallions paired to established performance lineage

The promising Pannan comes out of the first crop of Le Kannan while dam Kavaria brings in the genes of Grand Prix winner Chester Z. Via the international sport and breeding stallion Diarado the lineage traces back to the full sister of the international 1.55m showjumper Bedrina. The pedigree of Parthago-H also merges top progenitors with a renowned performance line. From a genetic perspective he ticks all the boxes to develop into a successful sport horse. In the third generation we find the mare Relesta, known as the granddam of international 1.40m jumpers Guiness (s.Eldorado vd Zeshoek), Felton (s.Clinton) and Chapeau (s.Verdi). She is furthermore the half-sister of the Grand Prix horse L'Accorde (s.Concorde) and the KWPN-approved stallion Unistar (s.Voltaire). Portos is sired by the champion stallion Kannan Jr, that made the transfer to international top rider Marcus Ehning after being successful in the young horse competitions. They were off to a running start in the international Youngster Tour. Portos was born out of the second breeding season of the genetically interesting Cornet Obolensky-son. Here, he is crossed to the proven Sina-lineage and this direct branch has produced international 1.50m/1.60m horses such as Alpha VDL (s.Corland), Piccolino (s.Notaris), Laddidor (s.Nimmerdor) and Rocksina (s.Corland).

Grand Prix lineages

The collection young stallions is bursting with Grand Prix genes. The fourth generation of Elbright (s.Erdinger) features the mare Landesherrin (s.Landsknecht II); she is at the basis of multiple international sport horses and approved stallions such as Florencio’s Son (s.Chico’s Boy), Colox Cup (s.Con Capitol) and Westerwald (s.World Cup II). The dam of Pappilon (s.King Karim) is a full sister of the national Grand Prix dressage horse Zambique. The talented Paragon (s.Ladignac) represents an acclaimed dam line. His Z2-level dam Egilia Dice is a half-sister of the national Grand Prix dressage horse Urban Hit (s.Diamond Hit) and second dam Gilia is also the granddam of the international Grand Prix horse Abokarde (s.Scandic). The granddam of Parfait (s.Just Wimphof) is a half-sister of the Small Tour horse Nithard (s.Investment) and the in Canada approved stallion Texas (s.Houston). Just Dance, the dam of Paris (s.Taminiau), is a half-sister of the Small Tour dressage horse Hazard HCG (s.Florencio). Three Grand Prix dressage horses grace the pedigree of Pegasus (s.Desperado) in succession and this dam line produced multiple successful sport horses. The dam of Piccolo (s.Intro K), Zabola, produced the ZZ-Zwaar dressage horse Ibola (s.Apache) and is a half-sister of the ZZ-Zwaar dressage horses Dopey (s.Vivaldi) and Ferrero (s.Ferro). Pickachu T’s (s.George Clooney) granddam Elan-Danka T is a half-sister of both the Intermediaire II horse Graaf Leatherdale T (s.Lord Leatherdale) and the international Small Tour dressage horse Darwin T (s.Zizi-Top). Princero (s.For Ferrero) is a grandchild of the Small Tour mare Edalien (s.Wynton), herself a half-sister to multiple successful dressage horses.

Inspected and examined

All selected stallions were presented in the first round viewing and underwent a full veterinary sport examination, both clinical and (very recently) radiographical. In addition, they were all inspected by a KWPN inspector in the first phase of the stallion selection.
