Last year’s Pavo Cup final was brimming with quality. The four-year-old Secret-offspring Nashville SW amassed many 9s and was the only horse out of all the age categories to obtain a 90+ score. The beautiful elite mare Nanny Mc Phee (s.Vitalis) became the vice-champion of this Pavo Cup final. The top-3 was completed by Dream Boy-offspring Dutch Dream; a stallion with an imposing presence that showed abundant elasticity. 

Guest rider Eva Möller awarded the sympathetic Sezuan-offspring My Blue Hors Santiano, making him the winner of the Pavo Cup for five-year-olds. The expressive Glock’s Toto Jr-offspring Montrachet grabbed the silver, one podium step higher than his paternal half-brother Mac Toto USB. A horse with so much potential! 

In the semi-final for six-year-olds, the Ferguson-daughter Lighting Star displayed to be at the top of her form. A flawless final test secured her the title. Half-brother Lord Platinum swung to silver. Franklin-offspring Let’s Play also showcased his high level and quality, securing a respectable third place. Of all the medal winners, all but one make their appearance on the dressage night in Den Bosch on Friday February 3. Marian Dorresteijn provides commentary for each of this young dressage talents, that are expected to put their best foot forward in the Brabanthallen.
