About the KWPN Select Sale (KSS)

Each year the KWPN Select Sale is the smashing finale of the Stallion Show in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Since its start in 2001, the sale has developed into a vital platform for breeders and owners of stallions. Whether you are looking for a sport horse with international chances or a future studhorse,  at the KSS you will find the best of the best of the Dutch breeding.

The KWPN is known for her strict policy concerning the stallion selection. Before a stallion is approved for a covering, he must go through a very strict selection. Besides a functional conformation and high standards for health, the natural talent for a certain discipline plays of course a large role. On top of that the stallion’s descent is of major importance.
All stallions which are sold by auction at the KWPN Select Sale have at least completed the first round of the selections of KWPN stallions. A number of them will be appointed for the performance testing during the KWPN Stallion Show. There are still plenty of chances for these stallions.

In the area of health the KWPN Select Sale offers you quality. All of the stallions at the KWPN Select Sale comply with the highest veterinarian standards as the KWPN requires from her approved stallions.

The KSS has proven itself by the sale of many winners who have proven to be great in the breeding sector and the sport.
