KWPN Select Sale: Scaramouche receives a premium, more than half selected

No shortage of quality in the KWPN Select Sale collection, and that was reaffirmed today. Of the 21 stallions, eleven were selected for the KWPN performance test, with Scaramouche (by Glock’s Toto Jr.) also receiving a premium. The KWPN Stallion Show is in full swing, and the first stallions from the KWPN Select Sale performed in the main arena yesterday. Of the sixteen jumper stallions, two were selected for the performance test: Story of the Year PP (by Cavalier Russe Z) and Winsome van 't Koningsbos (by Kassander van 't Roosakker).

KSS Reference Flambeau Makes Olympic Dream Come True

In 2013, the then designated approved stallion Flambeau was one of the auction highlights at the KWPN Select Sale during the KWPN Stallion Show. The Ampère son was sold to Germany, then moved to Sweden, and eventually found his way to Belgium. There, he proved to have what it takes to reach the highest level, narrowly missing the freestyle final at last year’s Olympic Games in Paris.

For over 20 years, the KWPN Select Sale has been producing horses that shine at the highest level, such as Island VG ridden by Kim Emmen, Hartsuijker ridden by Dinja van Liere, and the Olympic horse Flambeau ridden by Larissa Pauluis.
