Monday delivery presentation for fall performance test
Monday, October 9th, the Fall Stallion Performance Test will start. 33 Three-year-old stallions are presented for the 50-day-test, more info on the stallions can be found on the bottom of this page.
Among the 33 stallions are 14 jumper stallions, of which one takes part in the voluntary test, and 19 dressage stallions. Among them we find two stallions from the Championship ring, the reserve champions Jonkheer de Span (Farfan M out of Celebration Z by Calvin Z, breeder Henry Span from Zevenaar) and Jironn L (Charmeur out of Durodine L ster PROK EPTM-dres by Rubin Royal, breeder Jan Lamers from Oss).
The presentation of the stallions will start at 8.00 a.m. with the jumper stallions. The stallions will be ridden by their regular rider in the Willem-Alexander arena and need to show some small jumps under saddle. When the Stallion Selection Committee gives the green light, the stallions need to be shown to the veterinary surgeon. If he finds everything OK as well, the stallions will be stabled at the KWPN Center.
After the jumpers, around noon, the dressage stallions have their turn. They also, will show themselves ridden by their regular rider. After the Stallion Selection Committee approved them for being ridden well enough for testing, and the veterinary surgeon gives his go, they will also be given a stable at the KWPN center.
The four-year-old and older stallion who will do a 21-day test this fall, will be coming to the center on Tuesday October 17th (jumpers) and Wednesday October 18th (dressage stallions). The final presentation is scheduled for November 7th (jumpers) and November 8th (dressage). The final presentation for the three-year-olds will take place on Saturday November 25th.
The presentation is freely accessible. You are very welcome to come and have a look for yourselves.
