You can now enter your young colts for the first round viewing of the stallion selection. The Gelder and riding horse stallions will be assessed from November 29th through December 11th. The exact days on which the Gelder-, dressage- and jumper stallions need to be presented will be announced on a later date.

Entries
You can enter your horse by clicking on Sign up. Use your membership number and password to log in and click on the horse you wish to enter.
Fill in the form as accurate as possible and please also indicate whether you are interested in entering the colt in the KWPN Select Sale. Then click 'Save' at the bottom and your entry is definite. Entries will close on the 1st of November.

About the first round viewing
The stallion selection and assessment of the quality young, almost three-year-old, stallions exists of several viewings of which the first one takes place in November/December. The stallions are assessed by the Stallion Selection Committees that all consist of three persons that are very knowledgeable in the field of sport and breeding. During the first round viewing, the stallions are assessed for the presence of from the outside visible (hereditary) abnormalities or defects, and it is judged whether the stallion has a functional conformation. After that he is assessed in both walk and trot on the hard surface. That way, a deviant movement or leg conformation is more obvious to be recognized by the Stallion Selection Committee.
