Highway M TN increases the lead in Blom Stallion Competition
Six combinations qualified for the jump-off and Zoï Snels was the first to start with the KWPN approved stallion Highway M TN (Eldorado van de Zeshoek from Zelana PROK by Chellano Z, breeder Peter Verdellen). "In advance, we briefly discussed to go for a safe round, because he has jumped so well in the competition, but I quickly moved that plan off the track. With a horse like Highway M TN, you don’t have to go safe. This is exactly how he is! He is fast, super careful and jumps everything, so it became a nice jump-off that the rest could not match. After this, he will go to Den Bosch with the best starting position, just like last year. Hopefully we will complete it there this time", laughs Team Nijhof's stable rider. One of his other top talents in this class, Hernandez TN (s.Kannan), stayed at home due to a hoof abcess. "With a bit of luck, he is back in the final, because that is also a very good horse."
Strong round from Herakles
Kimberley Winsingh held the progressive trend in the Blom Stallion Competition with the Catoki-son Herakles (from La Costa by Landor S, breeder A. Bruggehagen). The numbers three of the standings now finished in second after a really nice jump-off. "Maybe I stopped him a bit too much in the last line for the win, but that does not make me less satisfied because Herakles jumped great again. He has not made a mistake for the entire competition so we are going to Den Bosch with confidence!" In third place ended the equally good, clear jumping High Shutterfly (Sir Shutterfly from Cerasinaa elite EPTM-spr by Chin Chin, breeder: G.J. Kappert) with Richard Kapteijn in the saddle.
