Hubert VDM approved after short performance test
Last week, the first training assessment for the harness horse stallions took place. The six-year-old Cizandro-son Hubert VDM had his final assessment after a shortened test. He was accepted into the studbook afterwards.
Hubert VDM was the first to be presented by head trainer Henk Hammers. He came for his final assessment and the committee decided to award him the approved status. At the showgrounds, the stallion already has won a lot during the past two years and during the performance test he showed his top attitude.
The guest drivers, Gijs Rozendaal and Demi van Nispen, took over the reins in this training assessment.
You can read a short evaluation of all the stallions in the test below.
Kadanz (Atleet x Manno)
Kadanz showed less harness horse allure during this assessment. He could be a bit better through from the hind leg.
Kane-BFT (Bocellie x Unieko)
A very sympathetic stallion with presence, that has good technique in movement.
Kornuit (Eebert x Patijn)
A youthful looking stallion that has harness horse type posture and lots of technique in movement.
Kenzi H (Manno x Jonker)
This well-developed stallion has lots of suspension in movement. He pushes himself still too much on the forehand and should develop more power from behind.
Jesse James (Unieko x Marvel)
Jesse James is an impressive stallion that was a bit distracted by the public.
The committee decided to send the stallion Kentucky (Eebert x Manno) through to the spring performance test of 2019. He was not presented in harness. The training proved to be a bit too much for him at this stage. After consultation with the committee, the owners of the Manno x Jonker decided to withdraw him from the rest of the performance test.
The next assessment will be on Friday April 6th. From 15.00h the stallions will be presented in the main arena of the KNHS.
