Directly following the sensational final of the five-year-old horses, auctioneer Koen Olaerts opened the auction with a special auction lot: a horseshoe of Totilas embedded with real Swarovski crystals. The auction item yielded 1.400 euro for the DVB Foundation. More than half of the foals was sold for a price above 10.000 euro. The average revenue per foal was 12.950 euro.

Expensive stallions
Incognito-offspring Nr One SB became the top seller of the night, the magnificently trotting stallion exchanged ownership for 41.000 euro and leaves to Italy. The alluring Nikson W (Ebony x Blue Hors Zatchmo) realized 28.000 euro and stays in the Netherlands. The most expensive filly was the well-bred Nescafay Texel, a daughter of Ferdinand out of Jazz. She was sold for 17.000 euro.

International affair
Noran (Geniaal x Apache) leaves for Thailand, the happy buyers will focus on the sport. Bearing the future in mind, a Canadian rider also bought two foals, amongst them was Neomal van Kairos (Bordeaux x Cabochon). For 17.000 euro, Nash Sollenburg (Foundation x Vivaldi) moves to Dubai. The outstanding mover Nickelson (Vivaldi x Charmeur) relocates to dressage stable in Germany for 12.000 euro.

Organiser Joop van Uytert: “It is an auction with an incredible ambiance and it is fantastic to be able to organise an auction here. We are very pleased with the auction proceeds, it was a good edition with, in my opinion, the best collection of foals so far.
