Traditionally the Sunday after the KWPN Stallion Show the Guided Tour for foreign visitors is organized by the KWPN. These visitors will go to a stable and get an exclusive look behind the scenes of a Dutch breeder. This year the Guided Tour will be a visit to Peter van de Sande!

To stay in the mood of the stallion selection, we will dig into the stallions (dams) and their offspring. Participants of the Guided Tour will see the KWPN-approved stallion For Ferrero under the saddle and a few of his offspring. Recently his full sister, Koeka Ter Selle, was sold to the United States with the goal of reaching the international Grand Prix level.

The KWPN-stallion Guardian S was born in the stables of Peter van de Sande, his dam is present in the stable just like some offspring out of this dam line. Interesting for the participants to find out more about this stallion and his lineage. Besides this, KWPN-inspector Floor Dröge will tell the participants more about the linear score form.

Foreign visitors can also participate in the Foreign Visitors Program during the KWPN Stallion Show. During the stallion selection on Thursday and Saturday it is possible for these visitors to listen to the KWPN-inspector who will explain everything about the selection system via a headset. Registering for the Foreign Visitors Program is possible via karlas@kwpn.nl. Costs for participation for the Guided Tour are (including special seats and free drinks) 150 euros.
