Dressage stallions off to a good start in the performance test
Like the jumper stallions, the dressage stallions have now also had their first official evaluation in the performance test. It appears to be a promising start for the 14 participating stallions.
The stallions have been at the KWPN Centre in Ermelo for over a week now and were evaluated by the stallion selection committee yesterday. "Of course it is still very early to make a good evaluation of the natural ability of the stallions, but we have made a good start with these stallions," says Bert Rutten. "They are well presented and easy to ride, we saw that last week at the presentation and it was confirmed again today. It will be interesting to see how the stallions continue to develop in the coming weeks, so we as a committee will be able to make a good evaluation as time goes by. Next Wednesday the next evaluation will take place."
Of the 14 participating dressage stallions, two are participating voluntarily. The final presentation on May 14 will be broadcasted via the live stream. More information about the participating stallions can be found in the media guide.
