OG Tokyo: VDL Edgar M clear with Zanotelli
Marlon Zanotelli just did a superb job for Brazil by completing a clear round in the delicate team qualification.
Holly Smith just made her Olympic debut with Denver (Memphis out of Toscin by Chico’s Boy, bred by Anton and Marleen Woertman) and with one jumping mistake we can certainly call it a successful one. A great start for team Great Britain!
Marlon Zanotelli gave a little demonstration with Edgar M (Arezzo VDL out of Aramee O.A. ster by Marlon, bred by E.M. Meijer of Den Ham) how to perform a clear round. The pair never got in any trouble throughout the difficult 1.65m course in which the time limit is an obstacle on its own.
At the moment, five KWPN-horses have made their appearance in the stadium. Emir (Dubai out of Bellonie stb-ext prest PROK by Cardento, bred by J.G.M. Meijer of Dronten) knocked off one rail in the last line but his air travels also caused three time penalties. This brings the total result for Fabian Sejanes and thus Argentina to 7 penalties. Willem Greve and Zypria S N.O.P. (s.Canturo) added 13 penalties for the Netherlands.
