Two National Championships mares in 3- and 4-year-olds aution collection
The 3- & 4-Years-Old Auction has already had two successful editions. The set-up seems to be a bull's eye for both the contributors and the buyers. On August 31st, the collection of the third edition will be online, again with some promising horses.
“It is great that this concept is being followed up”, according Ralph van Venrooij. “We are happy to help our members sell their horses. Our international network is also looking for fine young horses. A win-win situation in our opinion.”
Nice promising sport horses
The collection consists of eleven dressage horses and six jumping horses. “We have a nice variety in show jumping and dressage horses; horses that are untrained and saddle-broken to one horse with competition experience”, Wim Versteeg describes the collection. “Fine promising sport horses that have all been found healthy on X-rays and have been clinically inspected. We think this is important so that people can buy a horse with confidence and peace of mind through our auctions. In addition to the health requirements, the horses also meet conformation and are interestingly bred from a good dam line. All these aspects together are necessary for a successful auction.”
Olympic Just Mickey
Various horses have been shown at the studbook inspections this season, two auction mares also received an invitation for the National Mare Inspection. Of which Feinrich daughter Nizelle was even placed eighth in a strong final with high quality horses. She scored 80 points for conformation and 85 points for movement at the studbook inspection. She was honored as the champion at the Central Inspection of Groningen. In Nizelle's pedigree, the promising champion stallion Feinrich is combined with a very strong damline. Dam Izelle is a granddaughter of two-time UTV champion Dolly, making grandam Zelly (s.Son De Niro) a half-sister of the Olympic dressage horse Just Mickey (s.Michelangelo) ridden by Tinne Vilhelmson.
The best in Drenthe
The second National mare is Desperado daughter Noa-Dora V, she was placed in the lead at the Central Inspection of Drenthe. At the studbook inspection she scored 80 points for conformation and 75 points for movement. Her dam is the ZZ-Licht mare Wodora (s.Rousseau). She produced the international Prix St. Georges horse Daniël from Lord Leatherdale. In addition, Wodora is the half sister of the Prix St. Georges horse Codora (by Johnson).
