The KWPN has finished at the top of the WBFSH studbook rankings in the discipline of dressage. The WBFSH rankings are calculated over the period 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2021, at all FEI international competitions horses can earn points. They are placed in success order and the results of the best six horses are included in the WBFSH studbook rankings.

The six best KWPN dressage horses of the past year are all in the top 20.

Gio highest placed KWPN horse
takes the third place in the ranking. After a bronze medal in the freestyle in Tokyo, Gio (Apache out of Zenzi elite prest IBOP-dres D-OC by Tango, breeders H.J. de Jong from Gorichem and Ad Valk from Gorichem) also won a bronze medal at the EC in Hagen. The KWPN stallion Everdale (Lord Leatherdale out of Aliska K elite EPTM-dres PROK by Negro, breeder P. Kluijtmans from Tilburg) is in sixth place. Everdale and 25-year-old Charlotte Fry earned their listing in part because of their great performances at the Tokyo Olympics (bronze team medal GB) and the European Championships in Hagen. And Vogue (Jazz out of Nicarla elite sport-dres PROK by Contango, breeder A. van de Goor) is in tenth place. The Son De Niro daughter Zaire-E (out of Tara elite pref prest PROK by Jazz), bred by Empelaer Stoeterij from Lage Mierde, is in shared eleventh place along with Steffen Peters' Suppenkasper (Spielberg out of Upanoeska keur prest by Krack C, breeder F. van de Poel). Also finishing in fourteenth place was Buriel K.H. (Osmium out of Ronja K.H. ster pref prest by Krack C, breeder P. Bakker of Oterleek), who contributed to the KWPN breeders' leading position.

In the WBFSH studbook ranking of jumping, KWPN finished 4th, in the ranking of eventing KWPN finished 6th.
