GLOCK’s Toto Jr. heads the list with 8 selected sons
Today’s first-round viewing marked the day of GLOCK’s Toto Jr., that left quite an impression in both quantity and quality of his offspring. Out of the 12 selected stallions, 8 are sired by this Totilas-son.
The day was off to a solid start as the first group saw five stallions receive an invitation from the stallion selection committee. Among them four offspring of GLOCK’s Toto Jr, that got another four sons selected along the day. The Totilas-son was the main supplier of the first-round viewing as he was represented by eleven stallions, now he holds on to that lead in the second-round viewing. “The stallions by GLOCK’s Toto Jr. that we have referred today all combine a good, long-lined model with an uphill manner of movement”, says chairman Bert Rutten. GLOCK’s Toto Jr. previously saw four of his sons reach the finish line: they have already been approved at the KWPN.
Tomorrow is the last regular day of the first-round viewing, followed by the after test for both breeding directions on Wednesday December 15. To date, 61 dressage stallions are expected to come back in the next phase.
