The Gelder stallion McKenzy JHL (s.Alexandro P) has been definitively approved for the full stud license. Today, the last exam in harness took place at the outdoor arena in Ermelo.

“It is an appealing stallion to see in harness, elegant and with lots of expression. He has a lovely trot with a strikingly beautiful front leg. His canter is jumped uphill, and he has a great posture in harness. His attitude, work-willingness and eagerness are a plus. He is a great addition to Gelder breeding because he scored well in all disciplines”, explains chairman of the stallion selection committee Gelder horse Marloes van der Velden.

McKenzy JHL (Alexandro P out of Happiness elite IBOP-Gelder horse PROK by WV Saron, bred by L. Roerdink of Groenlo) received a 9 for the trot, the canter and the work-willingness, attitude, and eagerness to go. For the agility, his posture and overall image in harness he got an 8.5. The walk was rewarded with a 7.5.

The stallion has now passed all the exams and is approved by the KWPN in the breeding direction Gelder horse. Coming fall, this stallion will participate in the stallion competition for the first time.
