They were in the lead at the start of the Blom Stallion Competition Jumping L-class: Mindset ES and Maximus VDL. In the end, it was the Aganix du Seigneur-son Mindset ES that ensured the victory by clearing the jump-off.

“He was great, I actually never rode a jump-off with him before. He is so eager by nature already, that we try to keep it relaxed. He likes to play between the fences, but always thinks along”, praises Jarno van Erp his Mindset ES. “I am super glad to ride such a horse. In the stables he is very sweet, calm, and level-headed. In dressage he is ideal and when we start jumping, he is full of fire. Right at the very first jump I knew he is a very good horse. Immediately so careful to not touch a pole and quick off the ground. I am really happy with him, so I hope he gets to stay for a very long time.”

Mindset ES (Aganix du Seigneur out of Hosanna ES keur pref sport-spr by Kannan, bred by and registered at E. Schep of Tulle n ‘t Waal) was followed by Maximus VDL (Zirocco Blue VDL out of Daloma elite IBOP-spr sport-spr PROK by Verdi, bred and co-owned by H.W.J. Grol of Muntendam and co-registered to VDL Stud of Bears FR). Ridden by Cristel Kalf he jumped a clear basis round followed by one rail down in the jump-off. Elisa Brouwers steered Matrix VDL (Matisse de Mariposa out of Butterfly Z by Bamako de Muze, bred by K. van Weesenbeck and J. Segers of Loenhout and registered to VDL Stud of Bears FR) without faults both in the basis course and the jump-off which resulted in the third place. In the first round the following stallions also kept a clean slate: Mans (Comme il Faut out Quitania by Quidam’s Rubin, bred by G. Schulte of Halle and registered to H.A.J.
