Gelder stallion Olaf awarded premium round
Out of six Gelder stallions that were appointed to the performance test, one received an invite for the premium round: Olaf.
Naturally, the chairman of the Stallion Selection Committee Gelder horse Marloes van der Velden clarified why this stallion deserved the premium title. The son of Henkie was described as following: “The most complete Gelder stallion we have seen today. Well-developed and with solid conformation. He excellently showed his abilities in both the first- and second-round viewing. He moreover comes out of a damline filled with predicates and I sincerely believe that we are going to enjoy this stallion within the Gelder population!” Breeder mister Roerdinkholder of Winterswijk Kotten was asked to join his stallion in the arena where he was handed a breeder premium of 1000 euro by René van Klooster. Registered party Aris van Manen prepared and presented Olaf, proudly showing his stallion in hand during this award ceremony. The stallion happily moved through the arena with lots of elasticity and allure and could very well follow in the footsteps of his renowned father.
This class was sponsored by Catering Culinair, the caterer of the KWPN since 1999. This afternoon, KWPN director Piet Peters and Marty Fidder of Catering Culinair put their signature on another five-year contract.
