A few years ago, a pilot was initiated with the goal of merging the strong characteristics of KWPN horses and Iberian horses. The KWPN horses have gained a strong reputation in international dressage sport, in which they prove that great sport talent can go hand in hand with a pleasant, work-willing character. The Iberian horses are renowned for their natural talent for collection and their great aptitude for passage and piaffe.

These strong qualities of both breeds will now make their appearance in the inspection ring. Are you just as curious to see which talents these crossbreeds possess? Come to the National Equestrian Centre in Ermelo on Wednesday August 3rd

Informative afternoon

During this informative afternoon a wide range of foals and horses are presented from 14.00hrs onwards. Bert Rutten, chairman of the stallion selection committee and esteemed trainer of horses up till Grand Prix level, will provide every entry with an explanation. Rutten is accompanied by internationally acclaimed dressage trainer Jean Bemelmans. You also get to enjoy demonstrations of KWPN horses, Iberian horses and various older crossbreeds.

The entire program can also be followed free of charge via the livestream at, however we hope to welcome you in Ermelo on August 3rd.
