They are real eye-catchers, the selected stallions from the Online KWPN Select Sale. The renewed selection committee has put together the collection with great care, for which a great future seems to lie ahead. The showpieces will be auctioned online on Monday 6 February via the well-known platform www.kwpn.auction.

The stallions can rightly be called showpieces. “We were able to select some really good stallions”, is Sjaak van der Lei enthusiastic, he has been a member of the KWPN Select Sale committee since this year. “Stallions that seem extremely suitable for sport and breeding. We have of course paid attention to a correct conformation, all stallions have been clinically and radiologically inspected and we have selected stallions that can compete in today's sport.” Which properties are included? “Suppleness, balance, athletic and, as far as we could judge, a good character. These qualities are important for both a good dressage and showjumping horse.”

Excellent pedigrees
The stallions not only stand out with their looks, a healthy inside and a correct outside. Also on paper the stallions leave little to be desired. The Vivaldi son Pe'Le D is the full brother of the Swedish approved Small Tour stallion Harlem D. Secret son Pride is out of the full sister of World Champion Jovian. Power Dutch (s.GLOCK's Toto Jr) is very closely related to Hexagon's Ich Weiss who left a very strong impression at the World Dressage Championships in Herning last summer at the age of 9. Or how about Palermo E? This son of two-time world champion Kjento comes from the dam line of the striking Las Vegas. At Patton, the blood of dressage legend Totilas and World Champion Blue Hors Zack come together. And Pontiac VDT (s.GLOCK’s Total US) is a half-brother of the KWPN Select Sale toppers My Toto VDT and Olympus VDT. The latter was sold to Andreas Helgstrand for 140,000 euros last year.

Sons of proven sport stallions
Also the pedigrees of the jumping stallions are rock solid. Sons of LGCT Super Grand Prix winner Tobago Z, the Olympic Emerald van 't Ruytershof, the Grand Prix sport and breeding stallion Eldorado van de Zeshoek, the international championship horse All Star 5, the 1.60m horses Gaspahr, Uricas van de Kattevennen and Dominator Z, as well as the legendary top sire Chacco-Blue are part of the collection. And that's not all. Chargerblue SW (s.Chacoon Blue) is bred out of the half sister of the Zandor Z son Urico, who took part in the WEG of Kentucky and won many Grand Prix's. Uzi van deGaathoeve (s.Chacfly PS) is, among others, the half-brother of the 1.60m-classified Las Vegas v/d Padenborre (s.Calvaro Z). The Chacco-Blue son U-Rock van de Heffinck goes back to the dam line of the Olympic Romeo 88 (s.Contact van de Heffinck) ridden by Harry Charles.

The collection is online since today, of course with extensive information about the stallions, photos, a video and veterinary reports.
