As of 2015, Hippomundo collects all international equestrian sport results. This week the platform published an analysis of this data with the international Grand Prix winners of each studbook. The KWPN placed second in this ranking.

Since 2015 no less than 71 5* Grands Prix were won by a KWPN horse. The chestnut gelding Explosion W (Chacco Blue out of Uarina ster prest sport-spr by Baloubet du Rouet, breeder W. Wijnen of Berlicum) is the highest ranked KWPN horse on the list. The Chacco Blue offspring triumphed in nine 5* GPs since 2015. 

921 GP wins

in the overview of all Grand Prix levels, the KWPN places consistently second. A total of 921 Grands Prix were won by a KWPN horse since 2015, 405 of which were 2* GPs.

KWPN horses secure Dutch breeders top position

the VDL Stud of Bears leads the breeders ranking as their homebred horses earned a sum of €331.05. The For Fashion-daughter Orafina (out of Corafina ster PROK by Canturo) is the top earner for the Van de Lageweg family. Recently, the KWPN-bred Fellow Castlefield (Je t’aime Flamenco out of Bred by Liefhebber reg. A. EPTM-spr D-OC by Twister) won the Grand Prix CSI5* GCT/GCL Madrid, significantly increasing the total revenue of prize money (€194.395) secured by horses bred by M. Liefhebber of Hoornaar, resulting in a runner-up position in the best breeders ranking. Just Be Gentle (Tyson out of Be Gentle Verte reg.A prest sport-spr PROK by Ticallux Verte) may be called the highflier of breeder P. Knijnenburg of Deurne, this horse won the Grand Prix CSI5* GCT/GCL of Doha, Al Shaqab. Knijnenburg is represented by five horses at international level and together they earned €150.343 in prize money.
