From September 18 to 22, the World Championships for Young Jumper Horses will take place in Lanaken, Belgium. A breeder premium for the breeders of the final medal winners will be made available by Friends of the KWPN.

The Friends of the KWPN will award a €1.000,- premium to the breeders of KWPN horses that finish in the top 3 in each age class. After the World Championships for Young Jumper Horses, the breeders of the medal-winning KWPN horses will be contacted to receive these premiums.

Zangersheide will also be awarding breeder premiums. The breeder of the new world champion will receive 5.000,- euros, the runner-up will get 3.000,- euros, and the breeder of the bronze medalist will receive 2.000,- euros. The breeder must be present at the honoring of their bred horse in Lanaken after the finals on Sunday, September 22, to collect the premium.

Talented young jumpers horses
The most talented young jumper horses will be competing. Currently, 103 KWPN horses are on the startlist, including 33 five-year-olds, 45 six-year-olds, and 25 seven-year-old jumper horses.

Sires of the World
In the "Sires of the World" class, seven KWPN stallions are listed to compete. In this category, some of the best approved stallions in the world will compete in a 1.50m class. Among them is the KWPN-approved stallion Key West (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve out of Zanory T keur prest by Phin Phin, bred by R. Bril from Westendorp) and the KWPN stallion Ice Man (Amaretto I out of Perpetua sport-spr by Lux, bred by W. van der Vorm from Dinteloord).

Stand
From Thursday, the KWPN will have a stand in Lanaken. The stand will be located near the Ratina-Z arena, where we will gladly welcome you. You can visit us with any questions while enjoying a snack and drink.
