The class L of the Blom Stallion Competition in Kronenberg concluded with a spectacular performance, as eight KWPN-approved stallions remained completely clear in both rounds.

The chairman of the stallion selection committee, Wout-Jan van der Schans, provided commentary for each of the stallions in the second round. The competition featured a high number of top-quality stallions, and in total, ten stallions achieved double clear rounds.

Utilizing young stallions
Among the standout performers were the consistently strong Pinacolada van Seldsum (Dominator Z x Namelus R, bred by Minne and Esther Hovenga) under Yves Houtackers, and the impressive powerhouse Drummer 2000 TN Z (Diamant de Semilly x Chin Chin, bred by Stud 2000) under Kars Bonhof. "When you see these kinds of stallions in the ring, you hope breeders will make full use of them," commented Wout-Jan. "Pinacolada stands out with his athletic ability and truly has a bright future ahead. Drummer 2000 TN also impressed again today. Just like in the performance test, we noticed that for such a large stallion, he possesses a surprising amount of blood and is very light-footed, both in canter and over the jumps. Talents like these should be treasured!"

Other KWPN-approved stallions who remained clear:
- Poseidon TCS (Chacoon Blue x Crown Z, bred by Tim and Leida Collins) under Gerd Jan Horsmans
- Porsche SB (Kitt SB x Vagabond de la Pomme, bred by J. and L. Hiemstra-Bleyie) under Suzanne Tepper
- Paddington van de Marshoeve (Grand Slam VDL x Tenerife VDL, bred by C. Mars-Koggel) under Rens Rovers
- Power Man (Jukebox x Rascin, bred by A.J. and M. Roosjen) under Alwin Berendsen
- Pura Vida (Carambole x Stakkato, bred by Jan Greve and Arie Hoogendoorn) under Ellen Zwijnenberg
- Power Pool JR (Liverpool x Jacomar, bred by Johan Regterschot) under Cristel Kalf

For the final standings, five of the six rounds in the three selection competitions will count, with the final taking place during the KWPN Stallion Show. The next competition will be on December 10th in IJsselmuiden, followed by another on January 6th in Groningen.
