No fewer than twelve selected jumping stallions were part of this afternoon's nineteen-horse selection at the KWPN Select Sale. One of these selected stallions also became the top-priced horse of the 2026 edition of the KWPN Select Sale, an auction in which international top riders once again invested in young talent. The average price of nearly 32.000 euros was higher than last year, underlining the quality of this selection.

The New Pleasure son Trotsy Zottie (out of Otti Zottie ster D-OC by Harley VDL, breeder J. Wilmink from Oud Gastel) was sold for 75.000 euro to a buyer in the arena and will remain available for Dutch sport and breeding. Earlier today, the chestnut stallion had already impressed with his performance and, as his name suggests, he comes from the proven Lottie/Zottie dam line.

In addition to several well-known clients, including multiple international top riders, new customers also made purchases at the KWPN Select Sale, where bidding was possible both online and live from the Brabanthallen. Frederik de Backer conducted the auction smoothly: for many years, the KWPN Select Sale has been a supplier of show jumpers that later perform at the highest level, as recently showed by Loeca N.D. and Leonardo Da Vinci J.P.P. at Jumping Amsterdam. One of the regular clients at this auction was Suus Kuyten, who managed to secure no fewer than two stallions. A returning American client, present at the KWPN Stallion Show, also made a successful purchase.

Next Saturday, the dressage stallions will go under the hammer at approximately 5:20 p.m.
