PRIVACY STATEMENT OF THE KWPN
This privacy statement applies to all personal data that the KWPN processes from its members, sponsors, participants or other parties involved.
1 Responsible Processing manager
The party responsible for the processing of personal data is: KWPN, De Beek 109, 3852 PL Ermelo, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 40477840. The membership management officer (member administration) can be reached via email@example.com.
2 What information does the KWPN process and for what purpose?
2.1 In the context of your membership, the following personal data is processed:
a) IP addresses;
b) Ownership records relating to horses;
c) Telephone number, e-mail address, bank account number;
d) Address details, possibly postal address;
e) First and last name, date of birth, salutation;
2.2 The KWPN processes the personal data, referred to in 2.1, for the following purposes:
a) Your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will be used for contact concerning your membership and possible termination thereof, the sign-up and unsubscription, for the provision;
b) Your name, address and telephone number are used for sending invitations and information about services and activities of the KWPN;
c) Your name and bank account number are used to settle payments of membership fees, registration fees, training, orders, to finish off services purchased;
d) Ownership records are processed in the context of, among other things, horse registration;
e) IP addresses are processed for the proper functioning of our website and the ‘cookies’ used;
2.3 Your name, place of residence and e-mail address are saved when using the KWPN website. This is also the case if you are not a member of the KWPN, but want to make use of this offered service.
2.4 The KWPN uses your name and e-mail address to mail the e-mail newsletter with information about activities, services and other interesting information (i.e. about the membership) of the KWPN. The KWPN only sends you newsletters if you have granted free, specific, well-informed and unambiguous consent in advance. Cancellation for these newsletters is possible at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the mailing.
3 Legal grounds for the processing of personal data
If you become a member of the KWPN or for any other reason provide personal data to the KWPN, you have given unambiguous permission in advance to the KWPN to process your personal data in line with this privacy statement and the applicable laws and regulations. You can withdraw this permission at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of the personal data on the basis of your consent prior to its withdrawal.
Moreover, not all processing of personal data by the KWPN is based on your consent. Some of the personal data is processed by the KWPN because this is necessary for the execution of an agreement with you.
We advise you to read this privacy statement and keep it for your own administration.
4 Retention periods
In principle, the KWPN does not process the personal data for longer than is necessary for achieving the purpose for which it is processed, subject to longer statutory retention periods. Tax information is kept for a period of 7 years, regarding the General Law on State Taxes.
5 Security measures and processors
5.1 To protect your personal data, the KWPN has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures.
5.2 For the processing of personal data, the KWPN uses services from third parties, a so-called processor. We have concluded a processor agreement with the processor.
There is a number of external parties to whom we will provide personal data, in regard to the previously listed processing purposes and which fit within the framework of the execution of our activities.
7 Rights of the parties concerned, questions and complaints
7.1 The parties concerned (including members) have the right to submit a request to inspect their personal data which is processed by the KWPN. If the party concerned is of the opinion that this personal data is not (longer) correct or complete, he can submit a request to supplement, correct, rectify, delete or submit a request to limit the processing of his personal data. In addition, the party concerned has the right to transfer (or have someone transfer) 'his' personal data to a third party. The KWPN will grant such requests as quickly as possible or explain in a motivated manner why the request can not (yet) be executed.
7.2 The party concerned is entitled at all times to object to the processing of personal data concerning him.
7.3 Via the membership administration of the KWPN you can submit requests based on the rights described above with respect to the processing of your personal data.
7.4 If you have complaints about the way in which the KWPN processes your personal data or treats your requests, you can submit a complaint directly to the privacy officer of the KWPN via firstname.lastname@example.org.
