The Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Dressage class L was won by the Kjento son Renzo. The stallions in this youngest age category did not compete in a final during the KWPN Stallion Show this evening, but were presented in a showcase. The overall standings had already been decided in the qualifying rounds.

The participating stallions in the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Dressage class L were presented this evening with commentary by Alex van Silfhout, with adjustability and transitions as the central theme. Winner Renzo (Kjento out of Aronia elite pref prest IBOP-dres PROK by Rousseau) appeared somewhat tense in the impressive atmosphere of the Brabanthallen under his new rider Sadie Smith, in contrast to his performances in the qualifiers. Throughout the season, this stallion from Van Olst Horses stood out for his overall completeness, with his walk as a particular highlight. For breeders Willem and Karin Reijrink of Reijrink Steel Stable in Diessen, the success of Renzo is a breeder’s dream come true. “This line is characterised by beautiful models with a lot of strength and durability,” Karin explains. “As a foal, Renzo already showed a great deal of self-carriage. Nowadays we keep our foals, but back then we did sell them. The cooperation with Gertjan is fantastic; he is always honest and we are always welcome. That Renzo ended up in such a place and is doing so well is truly a dream. I can hardly believe it.”

Dynamic Dream sons
Second place in the competition went to Renzo’s stablemate Real Dream (Dynamic Dream out of Fivanny ster PROK by Negro, bred by Maatschap Pleyter from Zalk and H.A. van Triest from Elburg), who won two qualifiers under Charlotte Fry. “This horse shows very nice self-carriage and performs his work with ease,” commented Alex van Silfhout. Alvaro Rodriguez Siscar and Royal Dynamic (Dynamic Dream out of Rudiolore Victoria by Vitalis, bred by A. Sargent from Franklin, USA) completed the top three. “A stallion with fantastic front-leg technique.”
