One Dressage Stallion Leaves Performance Test

The stallion selection committees met today at the KWPN Centre to assess the stallions. For one dressage stallion, the performance test has been terminated.

Performance test starts with 12 dressage stallions

In addition to the 19 jumper stallions, 12 dressage stallions have taken up stables at the KWPN Centre. One dressage stallion has been referred, and the test has been terminated for two others.

The saddle presentation and delivery of the jumper stallions went smoothly today in Ermelo. Five four-year-olds and fourteen three-year-olds have taken up stables at the KWPN Centre.

At Peelbergen Equestrian Centre in Kronenberg, the Stallion Competition kicked off today with the first rounds of the season. The first selection of the KWPN Stallion Competition Gelder horse was won this evening by Anouk Slabbers with Ojee – B.

In the run-up to the KWPN Stallion Show 2026, entries are now open for the First Viewing powered by AJ Bedrijfsdiensten. From December 9 to 17, the KWPN Center in Ermelo will once again be dedicated to the stallion selection for dressage, showjumping, and Gelder stallions. Fiji Invited for Performance Test

The Pavo Cup also served as an opportunity to nominate stallions for the stallion selection. Through this selection via the Pavo Cup, Fiji has received a provisional invitation to the KWPN performance test, pending the inspection of his foals and compliance with veterinary requirements.

Raffael K and Royal King honored in Ermelo

During the final presentation of the jumping and dressage stallions, the two Gelder stallions Raffael K and Royal King were also honored. They recently successfully completed their performance test in driving.

The dressage stallion selection committee was able to register both participating stallions with positive reports. Both Sarai L and Pavo Cup champion Nashville SW performed well in the performance test.

All five jumper stallions presented today successfully completed the spring performance test. As a result, these four- and five-year-old stallions earned the KWPN breeding license.
