The final of the NHS/KWPN stallion competition had a surprising climax last night. Roman Nature seemed unthreatened in his race to victory. It was up to Negro to work so hard to catch up with him. The difference between the two stallions was 4,5 points. But when the time came, Roman Nature seemed a bit faint, Negro was parading majestically and powerful.

The jury gave 4.5 points more to Negro, exactly what he needed to become equal to Roman Nature.

Negro however won the competition, due to better results during the competition. The black-brown pearl of Henk and Jan van Tuyl and Gert-Jan and Anne van Olst paraded into the ring, almost passaged, because Anne van Olst wanted to show his extraordinary dressagetalent.

The third place –in both the competition and the class of the day- was for the very nice balancing Nourejev, followed by Neostan, Nero and Nexxus
